shopping for me!

hi all, hope everyone had a nice weekend. mine was good and bad. my son has been super fussy this past week and crying alot...i hope he feels better soon!
on the fun side i did some shopping for "girly" things. i haven't done that in quite awhile. i got this cute cardboard strange box which i put yarn and felt into, this adorable shirt from marshall's by suzie in the city, two really pretty sweaters on clearance from old navy and ba super cute purse by kathy van zeeland (my first "designer" purse) from marshall's also. it was fun! i did get mikey a few things i'll show later.. today i'm going to finish an owl i cut out over the weekend. many huggs!

montgomery

here is montgomery..a cute little amigurumi bear! montgomery or monty for short is hand crocheted using tlc wiggle (100% acrylic) yarn. this yarn is red with multi colored loops. it is so cute!
monty has a yellow nose with hand embroidered features and big black plastic safety eyes.
monty wears a yellow dotted ribbon around his neck.
monty is about 5 1/2 inches tall and is stuffed with polyfill and felt.

nelson

i finished the cute kitty this morning. he is named nelson. i used yarn bee airy yarn which is nylon and has sparkly strands. i also used red heart acryic on his limbs and ears and tail. he has bright yellow eyes and wears a bright yellow scarf that buttons with a white vintage button. you can find him on etsy now...ttfn

today's mail...

today i got two nice things in the mail.. first i got a carebear picture colored by my niece and origami papers from my sister. there are alot of pretty ones!

my first dawawa!

yesterday i also got my first dawawa! i had been admiring these for awhile but hadn't bought one yet. it was very surprised at how big he is! 19 inches! and look at the way she draws your softie on the box. i don't know what it is about dawawa's but they are hard to resist and they make you smile! this is dawawa55
