i have been reading staphen king books lately.. i have become bored with romance type novels.. so i thought i'd try stephen king. so far i've read cujo, fire starter and i just finished rose madder..which was very good. next i'm starting dolores claiborne.
as you can see i have a few more to read after that.. pet sematary, the dark half and misery..
any book suggestions welcomed here!..please nothing too scary! i am prone to nightmares lol!

most everyone in my family is crafty or artistic is some way. my sister amy has been working on sewing things recently and has made several of these cute taggie blankets and also this adorable sock bear. she even made the bear a dress! isn't t cute!

i had beeing eye-ing these mary janes since last fall. they are by born. an expensive brand of handcrafted shoes. and born shoes are super comfy! these are mary janes and they are sweet, vintage, rugged all in one! and they were on clearance..finally!

i have had some really nice things in the mail recently.
i got this cute jar of scrapbooking embellishments by making memories. it has paper flowers, felt flowers and buttons in it. very pretty colors!
also i got this adorable cute altered art atc with a fairy on it. is says follow your dreams. i love the colors..my picture doesn't due justice to it's beauty!
and last i got these adorable ceramic lucky kitty charms from pandahouse on etsy. not sure what i'll do with them yet..but they are so cute! and came is a sweet little blue box!

borders

i am kinda obsessed with going to borders bookstore. i go maybe 2-3 times a month. sometime i don't even buy anything. we went wed. and i got another stephen king book. this time i got cujo. and also got my favorite french magazine marie claire idees.
there were about 1/2 a dozen other magazines i wanted too of course..but i was good.. just one.. for now..

here is a new pillow my mom made for my son. the front has a cross stitched panel with a suzy's zoo picture and surrounded by patchwork squared. the back is all patchwork.. isn't it cute! thanks mom!
