12th anniversary

we celebrated our 12 wedding anniversary on the 27th. we actually didn't do anything special since mikey and i were sick. but my hubby did give my this vintage buffet. it is being used as a tv/stereo holder now. 12 yeas already! time flies so fast! i hope and pray we will celebrate many many more anniversaries together!

it's official!

i went to check mikey's wiggly tooth just now and woops! it's gone! so i started looking around for it and found it on the floor. can't believe he didn't show me! my baby has a toothless grin! hehe!

MERRY CHRISTMAS.. A LITTLE LATE

it has been a strange holiday this year.. my sister in law had surgery on the 21st.. she is doing well. then on the 22nd Mikey caught a cold and on the 26th i caught it. so we have been staying indoors and getting better. hope everyone had a very nice christmas. will show you some of our gifts soon. this little strawberry shortcake is wearing a new outfit she got for chrismas from my friend jane (polly). thanks so much jane! i love it!

i have a sweet friend who lives in mexico.. today i got these sweet gifts from her! isn't that pumpkin cute!? and it is filled with candies! and the little ghost charm strap. also the cute pucca doll! so sweet! thank you rosy! be sure to visit her shop micasita sometime!

quality street

i saw this only movie quality street today. i started watching it cause katherine hepburn was in it.. and i love her. it was a very sweet story and the costumes! full of ruffles and petal shaped pieces and pleating. so pretty! very inspiring! i think i might just have to buy this movie to see the costumes again! you gotta see it sometime if you love old movies. it will be added to my favs!

mikey

mikey is doing pretty good. i accidentally ave him some milk (he isn't supposed to have dairy) the other day. so he broke out in a rash on his cheeks and became very crabby. but he is much better now.
yesterday he learned to switch the light in the hallway on and off. i guess he finally git tall enough to try it.
also yesterday. he goes to his dad.. showing him his mouth and he has his first loose tooth! so soon he will have a cute toothless grin!

mikey is giving this cute coffee mug to his daddy. it came out so cute! even though they warned me the pic was low resolution.. it looks great to me! from walmart.com. don't worry.. my hubby never looks at me blog.. so he won't see this..hehe.

my early christmas gift

so a couple weeks ago, we went to my favorite thrift store and i saw this... and just fell in love! i couldn't leave it! i didn't have enough spending money for it so my hubby said.. ok you can have it for christmas. and i am so happy! it is just so beautiful! i love the frame too. but those little cherub faces are so sweet. and this thing is huge! it is sitting on my couch in the pictures!
