we went bargain hunting at the flea market, yard sale and thrift. it was very hot but we did find a few things.

for this i used canvas, ink, stamps, paper, colored pencil, jewels, glittered chipboard letters and a cute strawberry cabochon.

mikey's snail mail

mikey got mostly money for his birthday. so i bought him some extra nice things from gymboree and janie and jack. the janie and jack this arrived yesterday and are adorable! with all the extra details you expect from janie and jack!

the ever changing!

these two are always changing. this are added or taken away. i really love the shelf my husband bought for me. i can fit alot of stuff on it! and the inspiration board is so pretty. i am really thinking of making another but i don't know where i'd hang it..my alls are so full!

yesterday's mail

yesterday this wonderful book arrived. i'm kinda obsessed with victorian celluloid boxes.. not that i have alot..i just like looking at them. there is something about the shape or them and the flowers and the victorian pictures that i can't get enough of. so when i discovered this book celluloid treasures of the victorian era..i had to have it. and i got it on ebay for less than 1/2 price too. it is filled with hundreds of celluloid boxes, photo albums and more. so fun!

today's mail!

i got some very fun mail today! these are from FairRosamund again who i am really loving her cute girls have such dreamy sweet expressions!





this one was on my favorites list on etsy and she sent it as a surprise gift! i was so surprised and happy when i saw it in my envelope!




and this is an original painting. i've always loved mermaids. i have having a totally rotten day.. mikey was crying all day and hadn't slept through the night in weeks. so i was on etsy all stressed out and saw this. something about her made me smile and feel better.. so i had to have her. and she is even more adorable in person.
so thank you Lauren! your paintings have the power to brighten my day!

liberty of london clearance!

i had been waiting patiently for these to go on clearance.. and there were stacks of them at my closest target so i wasn't worried that they'd sell out. finally they were marked down so i got three. i love that they are washable and anyone who knows me.. know i love flowers! i may get a couple more things before they are gone.

this month's swap was "small and tiny trims and buttons". my sister amy sent so really cute stuff!
