i LOVE this scarf! they usually have this style in some kind of colors. this one was on clearance 9.95. so cute and whimsical with the ruffles and bobbles.

i confess, i haven't taken very good care of our little potted garden. especially while mikey has been sick. but look! we still got some tomatoes and a green pepper!

reading

i have been reading alot as usual. one of the few things i can do. i reread all the twilight books and pillars of the earth. so i was looking through my "to read" stack and decided to read the host by Stephanie Meyer since i've had it sitting here for months. and i loved it! the story is so interesting and dramatic. it was nearly making me cry..i don't usually cry from books. i really recommend you read this one!



so now i am reading the novels of carson mccullers. as recommended by robert pattinson when he was on oprah. love that this has an attached ribbon bookmark and so far it is interesting.

i've had this adorable oilily shirt on my ebay watch list forever. finially the seller put it on sale and i used an ebay coupon and got it for quite a low price.. for oilily that is. it's so soft and i think it'll look adorable on mikey!

mikey is doing better.

mikey is doing better today. eating and drinking and quite a happy mood. we took him to the er on friday and they gave him some penicillin injections and fluid. i think that must have been what he needed cause he is feeling so much better!

i need a vacation....

or even just a day off. you mothers know what i mean. and when you have a child with autism it's even more impossible.
he is sick since Saturday. thought he was better but then started up again yesterday. took him to the dr and got some antibiotics. ..so hopefully it'll pass. spoon feeding him fluids today..it also bums me out the he won't be well enough to go to the carnival on Sunday. he loves it so.
so anyways.. that's why i need a vacation.. it's been a rough week.
