things i forgot to show you....

in the craziness i forgot to show you a couple fabulous additions to my growing art collection.

this little clown owl is from marmeecraft. it is an original painting on wood. i had been admiring this for probably a year and finally was able to bring him home. isn't he the sweetest owl ever!

and this sweet raindrop ornament is from the cart before the horse. as i said before i had been looking at their whimsical folk art on ebay for quite some time. so i was very happy to get this little piece. and of course i had to get the pink one!

meet poppie!

i finally got to adopt a new blythe! this is simply bubble boom blythe. i have named her poppy because her hair is sort of a bright neon coral poppy-ish color. she has very fair skin and her makeup is very nice. i love her already!

DOLLY THINGS

tiny chunky wool caps for petites.

and more hoots using noro kureyon.

cart before the horse skelly giveaway

don't you want a little skelly to come live with you? i love the cart before the horse! i've been looking at their primitive art for years and recently acquired a small piece (yes i forgot to show you! maybe tomorrow).
they have a really fun blog with some tutorials and pics of their latest creations. so hop over to the cart before the horse to see everything and a chance to win a cute skelly for halloween too!

the hankie holder display.

i have some really beautiful hankie holders and had been rolling ideas of how to display them in my head. finally i had my husband put two tiny hooks up for me and i stung ribbon across and tada! hankie holder display!

and since i was pulling the out to hang them i decided to part wit a few that aren't as fancy like the one below. it's going to my shop! hope you all are having a great weekend!

itty bitty quickie project

just a quick little banner thing i made up today using tags my sister gave me, chipboard letters, safety pins and vintage ribbon.

snail mail

beautiful new yarns for hats and such. these were on closeout on yarn.com.

and another thing i love! vintage powder puffs. i think i have 5 now. they can be very pricey so i'm always on the lookout for deals. these two were listed as simple applicators so they were quite inexpensive.

pretty silk ribbons and lace on these. will try to take pics of all of them..sometime!
