stringing tags take a surprisingly long amount of time. i ran out of green/white twine so i decide it was time to quit and get some housework done..

sewing again

i am really liking sewing lately! i made another washcloth...

a felt circle rainbow garland for mikey's room...

and a pillowcase for mikey w/ his name embroidered on it...please excuse my embroidery..haven't done it in years... ahh what next?

i got mikey these gymboree pajamas on ebay. expecting another one next week. he is growing up too fast. the days of cute clothes will soon be over. my boy will be 10 next month..

mikey has been enjoying the nice weather and especially watching construction and dad took him out to see the machines which he was not scared of at all.

i picked this book for him because it is a touch and feel book and also because mikey still loves blankies.

couldn't resist.

i love these shirts. so realistic. mikey likes the dog one her got before so i think he'll like these too.

for mikey

mikey really likes these schleich animals. he has a few but i haven't gotten him a new one in such along time. so after watching him carry the alligator around all day and even take it to bed with him i decided to get him another. i decided on this cute turtle. i hope he likes it!

making things

i painted this watercolor painting to hang in mikey's room. not 100% happy with it. maight make another sometime..now i need to find a frame.

these napkins are made from some vintage fabric i found awhile back. napkins are super easy to make.

new kawaii goodies

a few new kawaii things from the past few weeks. the bunny is correction tape and the cat is a keyboard cleaning brush.

tea towels

since my tea towels are starting to look like this...

i went in search of some new vintage ones. these are the ones i found. not the cutest ones i've ever found but pretty nice.

also a really pretty table topper and a table runner.

i love the lace on this one.

a bit of vintage kitchen fabric.

and half of a victorian glass buckle. probably a mourning piece.
