braces august

after 2 months. alot of movement this month. some teeth look worse but the dentist says they get worse.. then better..then worse then better..etc.. pretty sore today. i had them tightened yesterday.

a new girl!

we had a new arrival last week! our third blythe arrived! her name is samy! named by my friend taube. she is a real cutie!

i also got this swap from taube who lives in chile! the little amigurumi is so cute with it's hat and bib! the pink thing is vanilla scented poo! isn't that funny! and yes it does smell like vanilla! and she also sent a pink blythe hat. she know's i love pink! and last she sent a really nice fuzzy yarn..so soft! yummy! thank you taube!

i recently got this swap from pati of kawaiicloud on etsy. isn't the amigurumi cute! and she send yarn, stickers and memo sheets. this sweet amigurumi traveled all the way from spain!

vintage hat from an estate sale. i considered removing the flowers.. but don't have and ideas on what to do with them.. so i'll leave it alone.


i found the cabbage the other day.. well i found this sweet original cabbage patch kid outfit and had to get it for her.. anyone who collects cpk knows it is hard to find these flower overalls!




vintage nightgown. i love the old lace on these. they date from te 1930's- 1940's usually. sometimes the 20's. found at the antique mall.


france storybook type doll. from the same este as the hat. they had a bunch.. but i just chose one. i love her red striped skirt and little purse. all the dolls were in plain cardboard boxes with their country stamped on them.


and last a 1920's -1930's child's hat.. so sweet! love the feedsack type fabric. and a bargain at just $2.00! from the antique mall.

this month's theme was cherries and strawberries. well the cherries were hard to find! so she just got me some cute cherry buttons and the rest in strawberries! i love everything! and she made those thank you cards herself! thank you amy! love you!

this weeks keepers

i won 8lbs of buttons on ebay and i am really happy with the keepers. lots of pink, lots of fancy plastic, cryatal, glass and china. and quite a few on cards.

that was so real.. like you could feel it.. and you were so happy.. and when you woke up it took you a few minutes to realize it wasn't true.. and you felt like you had lost something wonderful? this is what happened to me this morning.

MY NEW BABY OWL!

well i don't think it was meant to be a baby.. but it looks like a baby to me! i adopted him from marmeecraft on etsy. he is hand felted from woll and he's big! and so soft and sweet! i am in love!
