goodbye to a family friend.

yesterday my son godfather's mom passed away. she was sort of a third grandmother to mikey and such a sweet and kind person. we will miss you!

i always choose the wrong night

i stayed up watching project runway and then went on the internet for awhile and finished a chapter in my mccullers books. and stayed up to merely 10:30. which is a guess an hour and a half later than usual. so of course mikey chooses this night to scream all night..well for 2-3 hours.
i have no idea what he wanted. he just cried and went from bed to bed for a few hours.
i really wish he could talk so at least i could know what the screaming is about!

i forgot to show you this little guy. i won him on ebay a few weeks? or maybe over a month ago. he is a little kokeshi from the usaburo studio. perhaps the cutest kokeshi i've seen and i love it!
