today is the day!

am i the only one who is totally excite about today? why? LOST! finally is starting again today. i am thinking i might miss it though and have to watch online. i have to go to my son's therapy session this evening in chicago.. but we'll see.

and here is my latest creation.. teddykins pouch. i have been thinking about it for sometime. it is hand crocheted from red heart acrylic yarn..felt features and embroidered nose and mouth. pretty mother of pearl buttons. anyways i kinda like him.. might make one for me too keep soon.. but a pink one.. since that is my favorite color....

alterations...

i got this very cute dress from etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=15809 but it didn't fit my pullip very well. so i did some alterations so that it could fit kemi. i opened the armholes all the way since kemi has large hands and opened up the back at least 1/2 way down to accommodate her head and added a snap. doesn't she look cute? it fits pretty good too!

swap and gift...

i got a swap and a gift today. the little dress is a swap from my friend elly in singapore..it is such a cute fabric with cute trim and the tiniest buttons. all hand sewn! the little doll carminita is made by my friend rosy in mexico. it is from her own design printed onto fabric and sewn..so adorable! thanks to both of you! and huggs too!

another owl softie

felt the need to make an owl yesterday so here is george. i used orange fleece and japanese mushroom and dots fabric on him. i also sewed his wings on differently. i think i like it better.

i think i'll work on amigurumi next have a great weekend!

birthday bundles unveiled and another gift

here are the lovely gifts from my mom. 2 measuring tapes (i can never find one lol), color variations embroidery floss, teeny tiny heart buttons, 2 valentine's day ribbons, really cute printed felt and 4 beautiful fancy yarns..all so pretty. thank you mom for the beautiful things for my crafty stash!

also my sweet husband ventured out into the very cold weather to get me LOST season 3 dvd since it was on sale.. i'm a happy girl! lol

it has come to my attention that we needed some blue and green bear hats in the shop so i made four..3 different blue and one green. these will be listed today..

i'm back!

i'm back with a new softie to show! little owls! i have been rolling this idea around in my head for awhile and finally made these this weekend. they are fleece accented with cute fabrics and felt. entirely my own design and hand sewn. so cute! i'd love to keep all of them but i'm just keeping the pink one as she is my prototype. the other two cuties are available in my shop..

kawaii wishlist...

i have seen many cute things lately that i dream of buying.. so here are a few to share.

charlie!

this is charlie! i have been wanting to do a bigger amigurumi for awhile..so this is what i came up with..charlie! he is 8 1/4 inches tall from head to toe or 6 inches seated. this is entirtely my own pattern. so it took awhile to design and make up. he is made to look like he is wearing a union suit or long johns. tiny yellow buttons to complete the look. he also has a little red scarf. i just love him and want to keep him but i cannot keep every amigurumi i make :( so he is on etsy.. hope he finds a very nice home!

11 little bundles....

i got a birthday box from my mom. with 11 mysterious little white bundles...hmm just can't wait for saturday to open..but i will..i'll be good...

i received a fun swap/gift from my friend sibi. i got a super cute lamb key chain by nici, a cute piggy by happy horse, 3 postcards from her town( looks so pretty there!) some stickers for my son and another thing not in the pic as it a gift.
i just love everything! and doesn't my new dolly zoe look sweet with the little lamb?

bethie in sugar mag

bethie got a new dress! i didn't much care for her wedding gown so i sold it and got her this adorable lolita style dress by sugar mag. this is my first sugar mag item. such lovely quality. scalloped edge is too cute! it comes with petticoat, dress, apron and headscarf. all with the most adorable deer print. it suits her so swell too! i think i might get her some different boots or shoes..eventually.
