cute amigurumi and birthday countdown...

i made a cute amigurumi bear for valenties day..but i decided i just couldn't part with her so i made another for etsy. the one on etsy is named victoria. i udes 4 different yarns for these..two for the bears and two for the accessories. i think they came out really sweet.
countdown to my birthday! it is saturday. my mom says she sent me a goodie box..how fun!

goodies from target and michael's

went shopping on tuesday and found all kinds of goodies. target's dollar section has lots of really cute valentines stuffs. note pads, stampers, card making kits, scrapbooking supplies.i love all the hearts and red and pink. see the cute towels also with pink polka dot fabric trim?


also went to michaels and got a few crafty things including christmas pompoms, martha stewart bakers twine and goodie boxes, heart buttons and tiny pom poms. the martha stewart stuff was on clearance..it was christmas stuff but looks great for anytime also. anyways here are some pics..

arrival of my first birthday gift..10 days early...

well here she is! little painted sage! she is a jun planning bjd. these are plastic like pullips instead of the traditional resin used in bjd. she comes in a beautiful padded satin lined box. she includes dress, apron, socks, bloomers, cape and shoes. wig and eyes can be removed. i changed her eyes to glass eyes right away which i like much better. she is so cute and tiny. i'll take pics of her, kemi and my pullip bethie tomorrow. ejoy these arrival pics!

the BIG birthday is coming soon....

well my birthday is around the corner. the big 30 lol. no i am not freaking out or anything. in my mind i am still maybe 22...so it doesn't bother me too much. hubby already bought me my gift. i am awaiting it's arrival though.
not planning anything special..though i wouldn't mind seeing my mom..but she lives kinda far away.
anyways i'll be posting some pics of my valentine's loot from target and michaels later.
working on a custom order today. after that i dunno...i have so many ideas floating in my head...

kawaii goodness

i got a bunch of very kawaii stickers recently. also some pretty colored measuring tapes and almond tea doll from mcdonalds happy meal. all really cute. i also finished 3 more "gotitas" they are in the shop...i am going to try doing some bottle cap pin cushions next...i think

new creations and arrivals

hi, my son and i had been sick so no posting for a few days. i did finish two amigurumi for the shop and a gotita droplette amigurumi. i will be doing a few for the ship as well. i had a cute arrival of hamster fabrics last week. and also a vintage bundle of red and white fabric. the etsy seller included a lavender sachet..yummy!
will work on more amigurumi this week and next week!

what i've been working on...

good morning all, i have been working on this for my little nice julie and now it is done. it come out very sweet. i just hope it fits! my doll has the same size head as the baby. i used bernat satin sport yarn.

hi all! hope everyone has had a nice holiday! so much to share here. i'll start with today. it is our 10th wedding anniversary today! time flies fast! see the pretty card and locket hubby gave me? yesterday we celebrated cause he was off of work. we went to the movie. we saw national treasure book of secrets...which was really pretty good. and we went to the book store and i got the christmas issue of uk edition country living magazine. then we went to hobby lobby, i haven't been there for a couple years! i got a few very fancy yarn and a couple notions i needed.

also this week and last i received some kawaii japanese fabrics. i am really liking house print fabrics lately...

lastly i wanted to show the adorable christmas ornament made by my mom and the hat made by my mom..these were gifts for my son for christmas!

anyhow i have to finish a project for my niece but after that i'll be working on some new things!
